CRESCENT UNIVERSITY EXPELLED SIX STUDENTS – PROF. GBAJABIAMILA

Claim:

The vice-chancellor of crescent university, Abeokuta, Prof. Ibrahim Gbajabiamila said that six students from the school were expelled last academic session due to misconduct. He made this claim during the 18th matriculation ceremony that commenced on the 14th of January.

It is not new to everyone that every higher institution of learning has its own rules and regulations. Any students who make an effort to break it will have to face judgment.

Moreover, most students see those rules as what they can break and go Scott free, especially in private Universities, but it is not like that as the case of the versities.

Crescent University is a school that will not accommodate any form of immortality. Students that tried to break the school rule and regulations are either suspended or expelled.

The case of students who stole fellow students laptop are being solved based on the school constitutional book, which proof that illicit act are not seen palatable on the University ground.

Verification:

Seven students were suspended from the school during the 2021/2022 academic session due to their misconduct, so says the Dean and of students affairs, Professor Kareem. He made it known that Omotayo Faruq, Akinde Okikiola, Nurudeen Quadri, Akinola Faruq, Adamson Faizal, Olagbile Samad and Falaye marvelous were given one semester suspension for sizing laptop of fellow students.

The offenders asked for the total ransom of 200 thousand naira from the students they stole the laptop from. The victims were able to pay 50 thousand naira before they could get back their stolen gadget.

The school couldn’t turn a deaf ear to this when the victims came to report, so there was no other choice than to punish the offenders.

Conclusion:

Based on the information obtained from the Dean of student affairs, it can be validated that the claim is almost true because the students were punished for their misconduct.

Verdict:

Almost true.
