The ambitious cooking marathon began amidst great anticipation and excitement, with Chef Dammy receiving immense support from her family, friends and the local community.
Although, when Dammy started this Cook-A-thon, she received a lot of negative comments and criticism from the social media with most of them saying that she should have waited for some months or years before attempting to break it.
An Ado-Ekiti resident, Jide Adebayo went to Dammy’s venue for observation and he said that the location was neither properly ventilated nor was it properly secured.
The local community has rallied behind Chef Dammy, with an outpouring of support and encouragement. Visitors and fans have been flocking to the venue, eager to witness this historic moment of this determined chef. Social media platforms have been abuzz with updates, as Chef Dammy provides glimpses into her culinary journey through live videos and engaging posts.

Breaking a world record is no small feat, but Chef Dammy’s unwavering dedication, and relentless spirit have positioned her as a formidable contender. By pushing her own limits and inspiring others in the process.
As the clock ticks, all eyes are on Chef Dammy as she strives to create history through her incredible passion for cooking.
Although, her 120 hour cooking marathon was not recognized by Guinness world record, Chef Dammy thanked all those that supported her dream and that she is said she will be doing a 150 cooking marathon starting by July, 2023. At the end of her interview, she said “chef Dammy is coming back”.
