department of Mass Communication, Crescent University, Abeokuta as student-members of
the institute.

The students of Crescent University were inducted at the 61st annual general meeting of the
National Public Relations Week (NPRW) held on Thursday, 25th of April, 2024, at the June
12 cultural centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The president of the institute, Dr. Ike Neliaku, said that being student-members of the NIPR
would afford the undergraduates certain benefits and opportunities, stating that the students
would have access to grow their profile and career ladder in Public Relations (PR).

Speaking further, Dr. Neliaku asserted that students are great successors in the Public
Relations sector.

“What makes a society is when you have successors, but it is more important when you
invest in having a credible successor generation. For you to have this generation, you must
invest in the students” he added.

conferred on four individuals for their significant contributions towards the institute noting

like social media during his own time as an undergraduate.
