Crescent University Abeokuta Gears Up for NPUGA games with Confidence, High Spirit
Crescent University, Abeokuta, is gearing up for the Nigeria Private University Games Association, NPUGA, with high spirits and confidence.
Speaking ahead of the competition scheduled to take place at Babcock University Ilisan, Coach Abimbola Ademola expressed the readiness of the athletes to represent Crescent University to put up a good show during the competition.
Coach Ademola noted that with their recent impressive performance in a four-day international tournament alongside Chrisland Mountain Top, and Christopher University, where they emerged first in football, basketball, athletics, and table tennis, the university’s athletes are feeling good to go.
He said that the tertiary institution, notable for academic excellence would participate in Football, Athletics, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis and Badminton adding that the University would present 66 athletes in the games.
According to Coach Ademola, the university’s preparation is on track, with the athletes having showcased their skills in various events.
With the games which is some days away, Crescent University is poised to make a strong impression in the upcoming games.
