Former Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Justice Abdu Aboki is expected to deliver the 17th Convocation Lecture of the Crescent University Abeokuta on Friday, 17th October, 2025.
However, the lecture themed ” The Pursuit of Justice in a diverse society: Reflections of Nigeria’s Judicial Experience and the Role of Education ” will be held at the Bola Ajibola Auditorium, Crescent University Campus beginning from 10am.
According to the Chairman, Planning Committee, Dr Kola Adesina there will be 20th anniversary convocation play on Thursday, 16th October, at the school premises by 4pm.
Dr Adesina said, the 20th anniversary convocation play tittle “Àṣírí Ìlú Ègbá” was conceived and will be staged in conjunction with Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Ogun State chapter,
He listed notable guests expected in appearance to include Tunde Kelani, Chief Segun Odegbemi, Abideen Olatunji Yusuf, Halimot Ayinla Omowura, Yekinni Aderoju among others.
Dr Adesina said, the Executive Secretary, National University Commission, NUC, Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu will lead other notable guests on Saturday, 18th October, 2025 for the convocation, the Chancellor, Professor Ibrahim Gambari and, the Emir of Kazaure who is also the Pro- Chancellor of the institution, Alhaji Najib Husseini Adamu while the grand host, the Proprietor/chairman, Board of Trustees, Prince Mohammed Ma’ruf Ajibola will be in attendance at the event.
