GOVERNMENT DISBURSEMENT ON EDUCATION TO SOME STATES
The impact of the government financially in some states in terms of
education from May 24,2024 to November 6,2024. Education being an
important aspect of the society cannot be overlooked.

On May 26,2024, the government approved the Federal College Of
Education, Kano, as one the 126 tertiary institutions eligible for student
loans(Naira)507531194.9 . This move aimed to support higher education
and provide financial assistance to students.
On May 26,2024, the government allocated a significant amount of
(Naira)383979238.80 to the Federal College of Education Odugbo in
Benue State. This funding is likely aimed at various developmental and
improvements within the institution.
On May 26, 2024, the government allocated (Naira)(225667998.80 to
the Federal College of Education in Yola, Adamawa State for the
renovation of upgrading existing structures to ensure they meet
modern educational standards and provide a condusive environment
for learning.
On May 26, 2024, the government allocated (Naira)1019765347 to
the Federal College of Education in Zaria, kaduna State for the
employee that salaries and benefits for teaching and administrative
staff are covered which is crucial for maintaining a motivated and
qualified workforce
On May 24,2024, the government allocated a budget of(Naira)
13612568.44 for the headquarters of Ministry of Education. This
expenditure reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing the
Education system and addressing the needs of educational institutions
across the country.
On May 29, 2024,the government allocated a budget of(Naira)
1507967082 for the headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Education
for the acquisition of educational technology, systems, or software to
enhance learning and administrative efficiency

On May 29,2024, the government allocated a budget of
(Naira)13559872.54 for the headquarters of the Federal Ministry of
Education for the funding for research and development of new
curricula or educational materials aimed at improving the educational
framework
On August 30, 2024, the government allocated a budget of(Naira)
6656250 for the National Commission for College Education Secretariat
in Delta State for organizing professional development programs and
training sessions for educators and administrators in the college
education sector to improve teaching and learning practices
On October 10,2024, the government allocated a budget of
(Naira)44983337.60 for the Federal College of Education in Ekiadolor,
Edo State for providing scholarships, financial aid, and resources for
students to facilitate their educational journey and enhance their
overall college experience
On June 10, 2024, the government allocated a budget of (Naira)
8500000 for the Federal College of Education in Ididep, Ibiono, Akwa
Ibom State for covering essential operational costs, including staff
salaries, administrative expenses, and utility bills to ensure the smooth
functioning of the college
