Crescent University Abeokuta has been drawn in group H alongside the Bells and Adeleke Universities in the male football event of the Nigerian Private University Games Association, NPUGA.
Group A has Babcock University, Crawford University and Trinity University, while Chrisland University, Christopher University and Fountain University are in group B.
Group C comprises Western Delta University, Veritas University and Caleb University, Group D is made up of Mountaintop University, Lead City and Oduduwa University, while Afe Babalola University, MacPherson University and Jabu University are in group E.
Group F has Achievers University, Redeemers University and Ritman University while group G consists of Pan Atlantic University, Geogory University and Venite University.
Speaking on the readiness of the team, the Captain of Team Crescent University, Adeniji Adeyanju said the athletes are ready and would not to disappoint the institution.
According to the team captain, the spirit in camp is high adding that the athletes are motivated to refine their strategy for the competition.
