A fitness coach, Eyimofe Abiodun has tasked Nigerians to enhance their lifestyle and set A fitness goals that impact on their health in 2019. The Lagos based fitness professional made this call in an exclusive chat with Lifestyle in his office in Ikeja, Lagos.
According to Abiodun, one of the factors medical experts linked to healthy lifestyle capable of slowing ageing process of a person, is physical activity which consistent fitness exercise could offer. And it does not have to be for too long, especially for busy execs and corporate employees.
“Short workouts have great value, and can be done several times throughout a day, or can be a great way to utilize 10 to 20 minutes of time, rather than wait for 60-minutes block that may never happen”
The owner of Fitness Super mart, Ikeja makes four recommendation for the fitness inclined to meet their aspiration of a healthy lifestyle in 2019 which includes donning wearable tech/kits like activity tracker; explore group workout; consider working in a gym and/or with personal trainer and hitting it hard in 2019 by engaging in challenging workout.
He said; “consider purchasing a more affordable activity tracker to help you reach your fitness goals all year round; and also try group workout class where the classes include both high intensity dance cardio, as well as strengthening exercise for an awesome full-body workout and sign up to a good gym and find a trainer who will work great for the goals you are trying to achieve”.
