Students of Crescent University came together in a colourful celebration on June 13, 2026, as the Department of Architecture hosted its much-anticipated Colour 4.0 Fest around the COHES Building and the Department of Architecture.

The event, which almost did not hold due to concerns over indecent dressing, was eventually allowed to proceed after the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Akindoyi, pardoned the organisers, allowing the programme to continue. Once the event commenced, students gathered in large numbers to participate in the day’s activities. One of the highlights of the celebration was the colourful powder display. Organisers mixed different coloured powders in a large drum, where participants filled bottles with the coloured mixture before spraying one another using water guns. The colourful atmosphere created excitement as students danced, laughed, and celebrated together. The event also featured music from a lively DJ, who kept the crowd entertained throughout the day. Recreational activities such as a bouncing castle, table tennis, scrabble, and ludo gave students additional opportunities to relax and socialise outside the classroom.

Food and snack vendors were present throughout the event, serving participants while they enjoyed the festivities. The combination of music, games, colourful displays, and refreshments made the celebration one of the most memorable student events on campus this session. Many students described the Colour 4.0 Fest as an exciting opportunity to unwind after academic activities and interact with friends in a fun and safe environment.Despite the initial setback before the programme began, the event ended successfully, leaving participants with colourful memories and highlighting the importance of campus events in promoting friendship, unity, student engagement, and a vibrant campus life.
